Theodosius I, 379-395. Solidus (Gold, 22 mm, 4.47 g, 6 h), Sirmium, 379-380. D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Theodosius I to right. Rev. VICTOR-IA AVGG / SIROB Two emperors, crowned, seated facing on double-throne, holding a globe together; behind, Victory standing facing with wings spread; below, small palm branch. Depeyrot 28/3. RIC 10a. Sharp and attractive. Minor scuff on the reverse edge and the flan slightly bent, otherwise, extremely fine.
